I am originally from South Yorkshire, I trained at Edinburgh Veterinary School and qualified in 1999. I moved to Stokesley as my first job and stayed ever since. I live locally on a farm with my husband and baby son, where we keep Pedigree Shorthorn cattle, a few sheep and some ducks and geese. We have two dogs, two house cats and some farm cats.
My veterinary interests include soft tissue surgery and most areas of medicine in cattle, dogs and cats.
Outside of work I enjoy eating out, gardening and showing cattle.

I first came to work in this practice in 1969 after working for two years in Scotland . I became a partner in the practice in 1972 when it was predominantly a large animal practice. Since this time I have seen a gradual build up in the small animal and equine parts of the practice whilst there has been a decline in the number of working farms in the area.
My interests include attending local point to points and Sedgefield Racecourse.
