We aim to provide a whole farm approach to health care for your herd/flock, from the smallest of farms through to large dairy /beef/sheep enterprises. Routine fertility visits using the latest scanning technology are available. For the emergency situation our phones are always answered by a member of our own staff and we aim to get a vet on farm as quickly as possible.Do you want to go “Farm Assured” or be part of a Premium Sheep/Cattle Health Scheme? We can provide a comprehensive Herd Health Plan, (and Health Plan Updates for existing customers). We can offer advice on fertility, lameness, vaccine strategies, mastitis, and other problems that affect the productivity of your animals. We offer competitively priced bulk milk sampling for the major production diseases (IBR, Leptospirosis, BVD) . Johne’s blood screening is also available. For our sheep customers, we would like to get you started with health schemes and Maedi Visna accreditation.
Worming programs can be devised based on WEC (Faecal Worm Egg Counts). This enables you to worm only when necessary and save time and money. Don’t forget to worm farm dogs and cats and keep a note of this in your medicine book. |
