Ambulatory visits for horses are provided, and appropriate care administered. Medical services include on site radiography for limb injuries and in the field radiography when the horse is unable to be transported. Endoscopy is available for equine respiratory disease investigation.
We can provide full veterinary examinations prior to purchase. Medical treatment of colic, choke, lameness , skin problems, infections etc is provided by all our vets. Castration and minor surgical procedures (suturing wounds) can be carried out in the field. Our ultrasound scanners can be used for both pregnancy diagnosis and for soft tissue injuries to the lower limb. Fertility work including artificial insemination and post partum check ups are performed by Mr. Miller. Routine vaccination and worming advice is given, and we can do faecal egg counts for clients worried about their worming strategy. Mr Miller provides accident cover as a member of Sedgefield Racecourse veterinary team. |
