I studied veterinary medicine at The University of Liverpool and have worked at Stokesley Vets since graduating 5 years ago. I particularly enjoy the variety of work that mixed practice offers, from treating dogs and cats in the surgery to horses out in the field.  Cow caesarians and lambing sheep are especially rewarding despite the fact they often occur in the middle of the night!  Recently I have been developing my ultrasound skills and look forward to passing on the benefits to our clients.

 2011 has been a busy year for me; I married Neil in March, we moved into our first home in Chop Gate and are expecting our first baby at the end of November.  To fill in my spare time, I have three dogs who love walking in the moors; Skye who is modelling in the photo, Fleur the Briard puppy and Ziggy the Bergamasco who is well known around Stokesley as the dog who looks like a sheep!
